An ASC specialist school in Norwich is seeking an SEN Teacher to join its team. This is a rewarding role for a teacher who is patient, creative and committed to helping pupils with autism reach their potential.
The role
- Plan and deliver structured, personalised lessons for pupils on the autism spectrum
- Use communication approaches such as visual supports, routines and sensory strategies
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families
- Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews and progress tracking
About you
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of teaching in an SEN or ASC setting, or a strong desire to move into one
- A calm, empathetic approach and a good understanding of autism
