Educate East is working in partnership with welcoming primary schools across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to build hands-on experience in education and develop the skills, confidence and understanding needed for a successful future in teaching.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers and school leaders to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. You'll play an active role in helping children engage with their learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Working with small groups to reinforce learning objectives
- Providing one-to-one support where required
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
